Personal injury hypothetical – claimant with a gripe about grapes

Public and Products Liability

Wotton + Kearney’s Public and Products Liability Group recently hosted a personal injury hypothetical seminar for clients in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

Facilitated by Ben Richards from Aticus and with a panel comprised of partners Andrew Seiter and Paul Spezza and Special Counsel Karen Jones, almost 100 clients, together with lawyers from the firm’s PPL Group,  attended the seminars, forming jury groups to assess the plaintiff’s claim for damages.

In their feedback attendees commented on the “excellent” jury/panel format and how it helped to keep people engaged and acted as a “better learning tool”. The opportunity to interact with a variety of people in the industry and learn about how claims are assessed in different States was another noted highlight.
