She acts as coverage counsel and defence counsel for local and overseas-based insurers and reinsurers, and is confident pursuing high-value subrogated recovery actions, which include conducting and managing litigation in various jurisdictions.
Audrey has represented insurers and their policyholders in all levels of the Singapore court system, and in institutional and ad-hoc arbitrations both in Singapore and internationally. Audrey also advises insurers on non-contentious matters in areas of policy product development and insurance regulatory issues.
Audrey is a co-contributor to the Insurance Law chapter of Bullen & Leake & Jacob’s Singapore Precedents of Pleadings (2015). She has been recognised by IFLR1000 as a ‘Rising Star’ in insurance and reinsurance in the Rising Stars Expert Guide Asia-Pacific 2021 and 2022 editions.

- Advising construction all risks insurers on a loss which occurred during the testing phrase of a petrochemical project.
- Advising a facultative reinsurer of a machinery breakdown policy in Malaysian proceedings on a reinsurance dispute relating to the obligations under a claims cooperation clause.
- Acting for a global composite insurer in an international arbitration on a coverage dispute arising out of a US securities class action.
- Defending a multinational synthetic material manufacturer in an international arbitration for alleged property damage resulting from contaminated industrial waste.
- Advising insurers on a fire loss in excess of S$40 million at a renewables research facility in a tertiary educational institute, and pursuing a subrogated recovery for the loss.
