Catherine is a market-recognised insurance lawyer who is known for her work in advising on a wide range of insurance claims for insurers and the Commonwealth. Her work predominantly encompasses public liability, professional negligence and property damage.

She has specialist experience in historical institutional abuse, major claims involving significant injuries, personal injury in relation to occupiers’ liability, and workplace accidents.

Catherine practises across all Australian jurisdictions and regularly appears as an advocate in the ACT Supreme Court, ACT Magistrates Court, NSW Supreme Court and NSW District Court.

  • Acting for an insurer of a facility run for young disadvantaged new mothers, in a matter involving the death of an infant.
