Gavin’s class action experience includes defending high-profile matters involving environmental disasters, product liability, and public infrastructure, such as the Black Saturday bushfires, Queensland floods, and the Roundup herbicide litigation. He also advises on regulatory investigations, including matters before the Crime and Corruption Commission, ASIC, and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
In the health and aged care sector, Gavin represented one of Australia’s largest providers in the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety, and regularly advises on privacy, compliance, and reputational risk.
