Kristine is a senior member of Wotton + Kearney’s Property & Energy team, advising global insurers on major and complex MD/BI/DSU losses in property, engineering and energy.
Between 2011 and 2015, Kristine spearheaded the firm’s natural catastrophe response team following the New Zealand earthquakes and advised on a loss portfolio of in excess of NZ$1.5 Billion. She is regularly called on to advise clients on catastrophe response plans, provide specialist technical advice during claims and assist with post event reporting and lessons learned. Kristine also acts for directors and senior executives in the mining and power generation industries.
Kristine also has the benefit of secondment experience, including as a senior claims advisor in Zurich’s Major & Complex Loss team and as claims manager of AGCS’ Property, Energy and Engineering lines. These client and market facing roles involved leading large programs of international insurers of property, engineering and energy claims by ASX 200 and global corporate insureds, regional and global reporting responsibilities, risk/underwriting engagement. As a result, Kristine has a strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by claims advisor in major and complex loss.
