Tushka also has significant experience in dust disease litigation, other sensitive and complex personal injury claims, and workers’ compensation and recovery actions.
Tushka also regularly provides complex coverage advice to insurer clients, including in litigated indemnity proceedings.
Tushka has completed secondments with a large national insurer and religious institutions through which she has gained a practical understanding of the in-house perspective, and she recognises the importance of meeting client expectations, providing clear advice and accurate reserving. Tushka approaches claims commercially and takes a pragmatic approach to defending complex legal claims, including providing detailed liability and quantum advice. Tushka also regularly advises on responding to broader portfolio issues and claim trends.
